BLAPOP RECORDS A Faith-based record company that's multifaceted as is the artist Joe Wright. As Founder and CEO of BLAPOP RECORDS, he decided that it was time to promote artists of all cultural persuasions who profess and live the christian lifestyle,    and are dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus with their talents throughout the world.

                                                             Brother Joe's Vision

While growing up in the City of Chicago, Brother Joe realized at an early age that his destiny was show business and entertainment. Singing along to any and every song on the radio; and, performing in various bands throughout high school - Brother Joe felt that if he could just get to Los angeles, he could become a rcording artist. After dropping out of high school as a junior, and looking at ten years in jail for a crime he didn't commit, Brother Joe sensed his dream to become successful was crushed. Through prayer, and the judge dismissing Brother Joe from the case, Brother Joe believed he was given a second chance by God. Shortly after returning to high school, Brother Joe met a traveling band of rock musicians that was headed to Los Angeles. Brother Joe's high school pincipal recommended that he ask his instructors to allow him to finish his assignments early so he could leave with the band. Brother Joe met the challenge and completed his assignments in record time. while performing in Los Angeles, Brother Joe was introduced to many top stars in the entertainment industry. their one message to Brother Joe: "Go to College!" Brother Joe did, and to date has begun preliminary work towards his doctoral degree in the Fine Arts. Brother Joe feels God wants him to focus his gifts on a ministry that will broaden the concept of a new and exciting way to encourage Christian artists. He also wants to inspire Christian artists to pursue their God - given calling; and, not compromise their morals and convictions, while working in the entertainment industry. JoRon 2000 Ltd. is the umbrella for this vision. This vision houses the following subsidiaries: JO RON 2000 Publishing, JGroove Productions and BLAPOP (Black, Latin, Asian Pop Music Ministry) Records. Brother Joe is married to Ronda (30 years); and, they have three (3) grown children. Brother Joe is a member of Elim Christian Church in Chicago, Illinois, and the pastor is Eric A. Susberry
